James Hunt is a a native New Yorker, longtime Connecticut resident, and flatlander turned Vermonter in 2017. After a lifetime of playing soccer at the national, university and professional level, he entered the financial services industry in 2006. He began his career with ten years of consulting financial advisors on variable annuities at Prudential Financial, eventually moving into the financial planning business. James has managed money for his clients at Morgan Stanley, Equity Services and at LPL. In addition to advising clients, James has held sales management positions, coaching financial professionals and their managers on how to better serve their clients. He lives with his wife Erin and a pack of rescue dogs of all shapes and sizes (plus a cat) in Moretown. In his spare time he is a referee for the Vermont Soccer Association.
