As some of you know, I recently traveled to Ukraine to support our sister city there as well as humanitarian aid. I'm grateful to all of the Charlotters who helped to make my trip possible. Many have asked me, "how was the trip". Come here about what we experienced.
I am excited to invite you to "Stories from Ukraine", a special event dedicated to raising awareness and support for the people of Ukraine. The event will take place on September 21 at 6:30 PM at Halvorson's Cafe. The event will feature a short film documenting our recent Sister City mission to Ukraine and a silent auction with items from Ukraine. This event offers a heartfelt glimpse into the lives of those affected by the ongoing conflict.
