Come gather with friends this Sunday in the field behind Pond Road Studios where a beautiful space has been prepared to enjoy classical music and improvisational dance. The Green Glass Door is a new Shelburne performance space which supports young artists and performers outside the mainstream.
Starting at 5pm, explore the field or sit on a blanket as you picnic and enjoy the music of the Suzuki String Quartet. This group features 4 premier high school musicians from the Burlington, VT area. They have been playing together for years through both the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association (VYOA), and the Vermont Suzuki Violins (VSV).
At 6pm, we will move to the edge of the field in order for soft rocks to perform. soft rocks is an experimental movement and sound collective. Committed to the artistry of improvisation, this group features Jeremy Frederick, Danielle Tekut, Kyle Saulnier, Stephanie Wilson, Will Andrews, Jessie Owens, Hanna Satterlee and Matt LaRocca.
