This Saturday (Nov. 22) to kick off its campaign to raise funds to build new trails and a bike and foot bridge over the Winooski River in East Montpelier, the Cross Vermont Trail Association presents:
• the adventure film The Dream Factory, featuring the world’s best riders and skiers on Alaska’s most awe-inspiring alpine terrain.
• a big raffle that includes three $100 gift certificates from Onion River Sports, two Mad River Glen ski passes, state parks passes, sports gear and more gift certificates.
• Cash bar with beer from Montpelier’s Three Penny Taproom, light refreshments, a short film on Fat Bike snow riding, and a few words about the bridge building project.
• 6:30 p.m. Vermont College of Fine Arts chapel (College Hall, College Street). $20 for adults, $10 for 16 and under, $45 for a family of four. Raffle tickets $5 each, five for $20.
