Caledonia County Airport Awareness Day promises an exciting lineup of events and activities for aviation enthusiasts and families alike. Starting at 10:00 AM, visitors can enjoy aircraft viewing and Young Eagles flights throughout the day at the hangar. At 10:30 AM, the "So You Want to Be a Pilot" workshop begins, with a suggested $15 donation to the VPA Scholarship Fund. This workshop will be repeated at 1:30 PM. The WWII Aviation Presentation at the museum will offer intriguing insights at 11:30 AM and again at 2:30 PM. Throughout the day, attendees can experience the BETA Flight Simulator, engage in kids' activities, explore a silent auction, learn about the VPA President's Scholarship, view an Air National Guard helicopter, and marvel at RC airplanes. The VT Aviation Museum and KCDA History Exhibit will be on display, and Neighbors in Action will provide delicious food options for everyone.
