The Middlebury College Community Chorus presents its annual fall concert to celebrate Thanksgiving at Mead Chapel on the Middlebury College campus on Sunday afternoon, November 23. The 3:00 p.m. concert is free and open to the public.
The chorus will perform pieces for Thanksgiving that include classics by Joseph Haydn and George Frederick Handel and more contemporary works by Stephen Paulus and Pete Seeger. The centerpiece of the concert features the Middlebury premiere of selections from local composer Sam Guarnaccia’s powerful “Emergent Universe Oratorio.” Don’t miss this beautiful and inspiring start to the holidays!
