The School Board is meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 18th at 6:15.
The meeting will be held at U-32 in Rm. 128/131.

Just like last year, spending cuts are necessary to ensure a reasonable tax rate. The Board is considering a three elementary school reconfiguration plan, which would involve closing both Doty and Calais and moving all of the 6th graders from all five towns to U32 starting in the 2025/26 school year.

If the School Board votes to move forward with this plan on October 1st, then it would go to a ballot vote for both Worcester and Calais in November.

Now is the time to tune in and pay attention to these important decisions. This affects your kids, your taxes, your property values, your community. Your input matters!
