Come join us for a free screening of Just Getting By at the Majestic 10 Movie Theater in Williston. This film is a sweeping, and yet intimate look at the lives of Vermonters who are struggling with food and housing insecurity. Vermont has the second highest rate of homelessness in the United States, and one third of Vermonters struggle to put food on the table. These are big issues for a small state. Just Getting By explores the day-to-day challenges and incredible resiliency that low-income Vermonters bear witness to every day.
The movie is produced by Kingdom County Productions. There will be Q and A after the film with the Director and other guests.
This event is hosted by the Williston Community Justice Center and Williston Housing Committee, with generous sponsorship from Union Bank, Community Bank, and individual donations.
Film starts at 7 pm, doors open at 6:30. Reservations are recommended: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/just-getting-by-a-new-documentary-film-by-bess-obrien-tickets-1[...]url
