Walk on a trail toward the Springfield Reservoir, learning about forest succession, forest management, and identifying plants. Ryan Gumbart will lead this hike to the (now breached) Springfield Reservoir and give a little history about this project. Meet at the gate to the property on Wellwood Orchards Rd - 1/2 mile from Reservoir Rd and 1 mile from Weathersfield Center Rd. Be cognizant of the potential for ticks - dress appropriately.
