Stockbridge will again be ringing the bells at the old Meeting House on the Common to celebrate the creation of the U.S. Constitution on the date, September 17, 1787. The delegates who reached an agreement on this day emerged from Independence Hall at 4:00PM to the sound of all the church bells ringing in Philadelphia.

Come celebrate this historic event with your neighbors. Bring a bell, a bite to eat and a beverage and enjoy an afternoon on the Common. In the event of rain, the celebration will move inside the Meeting House.
