Next week, Wednesday September 18th our meeting will look a bit different. We will begin at 6pm with a meeting of the Steering Committee which includes the School Board, Superintendent, City Council, and the City Manager. We will be discussing topics such as preliminary joint budget discussions, city development projects, and all-resident voting.
Following the steering committee meeting the board will have a regular meeting (albeit lighter than usual!) where we will have some of our standing updates, monitor Policy 2.0 Global Restraint, hear from our student representatives, and more! We hope that you can join us.
As a reminder: school board meetings are meetings in front of the public, not meetings with the public. We will encourage public comment however we ask that you try not to repeat any points that have already been made, and keep your comments to 2-3 minutes so we can hear from everyone.
