2:00 p.m. Free Admission
Lake Champlain was a key strategic waterway for the French and British Colonizers and later for the United States. As a result, the Champlain Valley was a battleground in the wars that shook North America in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries.
Join us on November 16th at 2:00 p.m. as historian Willard Sterne Randall presents on the role the Champlain Valley played in the War of 1812, the last war between the United States and Great Britain.
Professor Randall will be on hand to sell and sign copies of his new book about the War of 1812.
