A new series of ongoing Monday beginner Tai Chi Chuan classes with Nadine Canter begins October 7th. Sign up for a series of 4 classes or register to drop in on one class to check it out. Tai Chi Chuan is a contemplative practice accessible to all. Classes will be held in the Sanctuary at All Souls Interfaith Gathering and focus on connecting our bodies to the earth and sky through deep listening. We will start each class with some Qi Gong and introduce ourselves to the Tung Family's yang form slow set. Nadine will hold space for exploring the Dao de Jing as well as standing meditation. Through slow, embodied movement Tai Chi strengthens the relationship between our minds and hearts, bodies and spirit. The myriad health benefits of this practice are tangible!
Nadine has been practicing and studying Tai Chi Chuan and ancient Chinese philosophies for nearly a decade with the Tung Family, Falling Waters School of Tai Chi, and Tung Family Tai Chi Chuan of Vermont.
