Dear Neighbors,
On Monday, the City Council will convene its second of two meetings for the month of November.
We will begin our Council meeting at 7pm in Contois Auditorium with a presentation from Martha Maksym, Executive Director of the United Way, Matt Young of the HowardCenter Street Outreach team and Police Chief Mike Schirling regarding the HowardCenter Street Outreach program.
We will then get an update from Chapin Spencer, Director of DPW, on the Champlain Parkway.
On our deliberative agenda, we will be voting on four resolutions. The first resolution is regarding the issuance of Airport Revenue Bonds. We will also be voting to approve the Bridge Financing Documents for Burlington Telecom and Completing the Settlement with Citibank. We will then vote on the expansion of the Burlington Telecom Advisory Board and approval of the BT Operating Guidelines. Finally, we will be voting on a ballot referendum question regarding the divestiture of public funds from fossil fuel companies with the largest carbon reserves.
