Movement for Parkinson's (MfPD) begins it's 11 year offering dance classes to people with Parkinson's and those with other movement challenges. Movement for Parkinson's is about more than moving and dancing, it's about gathering together and creating joy. In this class, building a strong community is just as paramount as building a strong body. There is no one way to dance! Each dancer is encouraged to modify movements to meet their own comfort level. This class provides a fun, welcoming, and creative environment where people can explore the potential of their own movement at any age or stage of Parkinson's. Classes are free to all participants.
