Join Vermont Coverts and Vermont Tree Farm in this exciting opportunity to build your own Leopold Bench. During this workshop led by landowner Allen Yale and Jared Nunery (Orleans County Forester), participants will build a Leopold Bench from lumber harvested and milled at the Yaledale Tree Farm in Derby. Participants will learn about the management of the Yaledale Tree Farm over the last 50+ years, as well as discuss the idea of a land ethic. Participants will be able to bring their bench home with them at the end of the workshop. There is a $20 registration fee to cover the cost of materials, and space is limited.
