Learn to Square Dance!

Lake Champlain Squares will hold open square dance parties or 'fun nights' on September 17 and 24 where anyone can come and try out square dancing.

There will be 2 free introductory sessions this fall:

• Tuesday, September 17, 6:00 pm to 8:30pm and

• Tuesday, September 24, 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

Both are at the Federick Tuttle Middle School, 550 Dorset Street, South Burlington, VT. Come to either night. Come to both nights! Bring a friend! No experience necessary. No partner required. We have volunteers who will be happy to dance with you. Just come and be surprised! Wear comfortable clothing (you can get warm while dancing) and shoes. There will be snacks! Smiles! Laughter!

Both sessions are free for new dancers. If you enjoyed yourself, you can return for weekly $7 pay as you go lessons where you will learn the basic steps (calls) in approximately 14 weeks. Once you have learned the basic calls you can progress to more advanced calls if you wish, and you will be able to dance at our club, as well as other clubs and festivals throughout the world.

We welcome you to come on out and try our activity. It is friendship through music and movement, and benefits us in so many ways.
