The Grand Isle Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting a Fire Station Open House THIS SATURDAY (Sept 7th) from 11am to 1pm (17 Hyde Road). Parking is at the town office and lots next to it.
Come take a tour of the fire station and trucks, get fire prevention items including fire hats, Pet Finder Stickers, ID stickers for your kayak/canoe/other items that can float away, purchase a 911 reflective sign, use a fire hose to put out a "house fire," meet your firefighters, the Red Cross will be there providing info on their free smoke alarm installation program plus more and the Fire Department Auxiliary will be hosting a Dessert Social, so come with your sweet tooth.
This is a free event that we hope all will stop by to visit your fire department
