Don't forget...After you have had a delicious pancake breakfast, recycled your metal and bought a wreath to support the PTN at the elementary school, head on over to the town hall at 11am and enjoy a wonderful program about Native American Thanksgivings!

Event details:
Popular author and master storyteller Michael Caduto performs Native American myths and legends at the Moretown Town Hall on Saturday, November 15th from 11am to noon. This entertaining performance explores the true meaning of "Thanksgiving" in Native cultures. Stories, songs, chants and native instruments are carefully chosen from among the Native cultures of North America, including the Abenaki peoples of Vermont. Michael creates a host of humorous and dramatic animals and human characters. Audience members are invited to accompany the songs, chants, native instruments and dance. Participants are introduced to the Circles of Giving and Receiving—the traditional Native American basis for living in balance with Earth and each other. Free for all ages. This program is funded in full by the Robert DiYeso Charitable Trust. For more information, please call (496-9728) or email (moretownlibrary@gmail.com) the Moretown Memorial Library.

Moretown village is the place to be this Saturday! See you there!
