Poetry People
Some things a Poet's soul shouldn't miss
To do without seems a crime
Such an evening as this
With words filling ears
Between laughter and cheers
Old favorites or new penned
Each a welcomed friend
Some with little meter or rhyme.
So come pull up a chair and a table
Enjoy taking it all in
Share a poem; one of your own if you're able
If not, just sit back and get lost in the din.
From 7:00 to 8:30 at the Varnum Library
Tuesday evening the 18th of November
Come drink in poetry and be merry
Give your Poet's heart a night to remember.
Good company both young and old
With your Poet's heart and soul being fed
Listen to the stories being told
While enjoying Laurie's Chocolate Bread.
Writing in Our Heads,
Laurie and LN
