J. Peter Cobb will read from his new book on Monday, September 9, at 6:30 PM at the Community/Senior Center, 56 High Street in Hardwick.
About the book: As a 28-year-old farmhand, John Gauthier falls in love with both the farmer's wife and her sister, forcing them all to face the question: Do I follow my heart or do I do the right thing for my family?
About Peter: he is the author of two novels: To Alice (TouchPoint Press, 2022), about boundary issues faced by hospice and home care workers, and Some Things Aren't Meant to Be (2024). In 2016, Cobb retired from a long career as director of the VNAs of Vermont, the trade association representing Vermont's Visiting Nurse Associations.
Please note this event takes place at 56 High Street, which is an accessible building. Hope to see you there!
