Mark your calendars! The Old Stone House Museum & Historic Village is planning their second annual Fall Fiber Faire, slated to take place on Saturday, Sept. 21st, from 11:30-4pm. Details of this year's Faire are available here: https://www.oldstonehousemuseum.org/event/fiber-faire/ Come and visit with spinners, weavers, rug hookers, rug braiders, lace makers, quilters, menders, upcyclers, basket makers and more. Fun for the whole family in the beautiful Historic Village in Brownington. Children are invited to bring their torn stuffed animals to the "Stuffed" Animal Repair Hospital.

The keynote speaker Mary Ann Stewart, from Lexington, MA will open the event at 11:30 at the Brownington Church.

Mary Ann is a stitcher, fiber artist, zero-waste natural dye artisan, environmentalist, and sustainable fiber systems advocate. She will discuss concerns that surround our current fast fashion industry.

Further details and advance ticket sales at www.oldstonehousemuseum.org. Gates will open at 11am giving attendees time to leisurely walk to the Brownington Church on Hinman Settler Rd. Parking will be available close to the venue.
