Are you looking to take control of your high blood pressure? Starting Sept. 11, a free, in-person blood pressure management workshop will meet weekly – for eight weeks – at the Danville United Methodist Church, 5 – 6:30 p.m, You can make reaching blood pressure related health goals easy by joining the Health Coaches for Hypertension Control program. The program provides you with the information, support, and skills you need to better manage and lower your high blood pressure while receiving support from a health and lifestyle coach.
Our Health Coaches for Hypertension Control program focuses on sustainable lifestyle change, including:
• The basics of controlling your high blood pressure
• Making healthier eating choices
• Getting more physical activity in your daily life
• Reducing stress and staying motivated
• Better managing blood pressure medications
• Solving problems and creating plans for action and change
