The Champlain Valley Quilt Guild will hold its first meeting of the year at the Holy Family Church Parish Hall in Essex Junction on Sept. 3, 2024 at 7:00 pm. The program will be Dave Atkinson, retired proprietor of Dr. Dave's Sewing Repair Shop, discussing "Home Sewing Machines: 1900 to the Present". Dave will go through the history and workings of a sewing machine, and its evolution to the modern machines we use today. He will also present tips for maintenance of your home machine.

Guest fee is $10, a full year's membership in the guild is $40.
