It's time for our 5th Annual Walk! Show support for AWARE in its advocacy and programming for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Hardwick and it's surrounding communities (which include Cabot, Craftsbury, Greensboro, Stannard, Walden, and Woodbury) by gathering pledges and hitting the trails with us!
Walkers (and bicyclists!) meet on Saturday, September 14th at 9:00am at Atkins Field. This walk is approximately 7 miles round-trip. We will head through town and onto the Rail Trail — ending at Summersweet Gardens where we'll be met with luscious treats! You can plan to be picked up at Summersweet Gardens (about 1.5 hr. walk from Atkins) or make the round trip (approx. 3 hrs.) with the group back to Atkins field. We will have commemorative water bottles and a selection of t-shirts for you to choose from!
Please email Jerry at jschneider@vtlink.net for more information. If you would like to participate but are unable to walk, ask about our Designated Walkers!
Other upcoming events from AWARE include our Candlelight Vigil (Sept. 19 at 7pm) and our 40th Annual Fall Foliage Craft Fair (Oct. 5 from 9-3) — we look forward to seeing you at any, or all, of these dates!
