National Grief Awareness Day Book Talk With Pamela Blair, Bradie Hansen, and guest Ali Waltien

National Grief Awareness Day is on August 30th. To commemorate this day, we will be at Pierson Library on Thursday the 29th from 6-7pm in our town of Shelburne, VT talking about our experiences of grief, how we work to support grieving people in our community, and our book The Long Grief Journey. Joining us will be colleague and friend, Ali Waltien who is an integral part of our grief support community.

What does it mean to be grief aware, or grief literate? How can we develop this awareness in ourselves, whether we've experienced loss in our own lives or not? How can we best support loved ones in their grieving? All of these topics and more will be addressed during this interactive event.
