Good Steward Tax is offering fall classes for folks who have started or are starting a small or micro business and want information about what is required for tax purposes. You can sign up on our website (goodstewardtax.com).

Classes will start with helping you understand whether you have a business (according to the IRS) or a hobby, whether you need an entity, EIN, and/or payroll. We will also cover bookkeeping for tax purposes, tracking home office and other personal/businesses expenses, and other FAQs. As the series moves along, we will focus more specifically on areas of interest to the participants.

We are offering these classes because recently we have had more people asking these questions than we can reasonably cover with our free consultations, and we want everyone to have the information you need to at least stay out of trouble. You do not need to be a client or potential client to participate. Classes are $10 per session (free to current clients).
