Hello Ward 2 neighbors!

On Thursday, September 12, we will be having our monthly community dinner, followed by a Ward 2 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) meeting in the Old North End Community Center. All are welcome, and we will have live music & a kids activity during the dinner!

The delicious veggie-powered dinner will be from 5:30 - 6:30pm. The NPA meeting is 6:30 - 8:30pm.

Topics for the meeting will likely include:
An update on recent changes to Ward 2 and 3 NPA operations.
The annual vote to renew steering committee members, along with a call for new members.
A presentation about Annual Library Card Renewal month from our Library.
Updates about change of use and renovations at 97 North St. (previously Everest Asian Market)
Updates about the City's transportation Initiatives
A presentation about a group's vision of a Burlington History and Culture Center

We will post again when the agenda is finalized. Plan to come learn and ask questions!

Please note that this meeting is at the same time and place as the former Wards 2 & 3 NPA meetings, but is just a Ward 2 NPA meeting. The Ward 3 NPA Steering Committee held a Ward 3-only meeting on July 31, 2024 where those in attendance voted to dissolve the joint operation of the Wards 2 & 3 NPA. The Ward 2 NPA continues to welcome residents of all wards to attend the meetings and Old North End Community Dinner.
