Tanzanian Food and Presentation at Norwich University!
The NU VISIONS Abroad student team members who traveled to Tanzania last summer have partnered with Sodexo and the International Center to provide a “Taste of Tanzania” and presentation of their volunteer trip.

Come one, come all on Tuesday, Nov. 18th from 5 – 6:15 p.m. to the Norwich University Wise Campus Center Faculty & Staff Dining Lounge. Cost is $10.25 for members of the general public for “all-you-can-eat” traditional Tanzanian dishes.

On the menu:

• samosas
• “chips na mayai” (an egg and potato dish)
• mandazi (donuts)
• peanut soup
• Tanzanian curried chicken-banana soup
• beans with greens and rice
...and more!

2015 Calendars featuring additional Tanzanian recipes will be on sale, as will holiday ornaments and handmade gifts from the rural Tanzanian village of Pommerin.

To RSVP, please contact Nicole DiDomenico at ndidomen@norwich.edu by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 18th.

The student volunteers presenting, who helped to build a vocational and residential center for orphaned youth in Pommerin, will recount their experiences and give attendees a preview of the work they’ll be returning to do in Tanzania in July 2015.
