Did you know that 2 in 5 Vermonters are food insecure? Let's help out our neighbors facing hunger. Bring an unexpired, non-perishable food item to the Waterbury Common Market tent at the Waterbury Farmers Market in Rusty Parker Park in Waterbury Village on Thursday, August 29th from 4 pm to 7 pm.
The mission of the Waterbury Common Market is to provide food assistance to food-insecure families and individuals in the Waterbury area.
Needs at the Market:
🥨 Back-to-school snacks: crackers, nuts, pretzels, popcorn, bars, etc.
🧴 Personal care: shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, lotion, etc.
🥫 Soup
🛍️ Reusable shopping bags
🧻 Paper towels and toilet tissue
Representatives from the Vermont Food Bank will be offering free food samples inspired by the VT Fresh Program whose aim is to make nourishing foods accessible to everyone. Come by our tent this week to learn more about the Waterbury Common Market and the Vermont Food Bank programs!
Thank you for your continued support!
