Jeff Danzinger, Political cartoonist from NYC and Vermont, will appear at the Helen Day Art Center tonight from 6-8pm
He will give a brief talk at 6pm, followed by a screening of the French documentary film, "Cartoonists: Foot Soldiers of Democracy." This film features 12 cartoonists from around the world (Danziger is the US representative), and was selected at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. The evening will conclude with a book signing of Danziger's new book, "The Conscience of a Cartoonist: Instructions, Observations, Criticisms, Enthusiasms."
This event is not to be missed! It is part of an ongoing exhibition, "Unrest: Art, Activism & Revolution," which will be on display until November 23rd.
Light food and refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
