The annual Albany Labor Day Chicken BBQ and Parade will be held on Labor Day, Monday, September 2. The parade on Main St. starts at 11am. Anyone interested in being in the parade should line up on Water St. at 10:30am. Chicken BBQ will be served at noon at the Albany United Methodist Church. $18.00 per meal- includes half a chicken, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, roll, beverage, and strawberry shortcake. Take outs will be available. 50-50 and Hand-Made quilt raffles. All proceeds to benefit the Albany Vol. Fire Dept.
