The Green Mountain Dog Club is sponsoring an Introduction to Hunt Training Discussion on Thursday, November 13 at 7 p.m. at the Commodores Inn in Stowe, Vermont. The program is open to the public free of charge. The speaker is Alec Sparks, Owner/Trainer of Snowbound Kennels. Topics will include:
 Overview of Hunt Test vs Field Trials.
 Philosophical approaches to training hunting dogs.
 Competition preparation and participation.
 Training tool and techniques and their proper application.
 Discussion of remote collar training - Clarifying this most misunderstood and sometimes misused device.
