After 40 seasons in New York City, Composers Concordance visits Vermont for one performance only with "Moonlight and Maple Syrup." The concert will feature music by Vermont composers Dennis Bathory-Kitsz, David Gunn, and Craig Pallett, as well as Composers Concordance regulars Machiko Ozawa and Gene Pritsker. Vermont-themed classics include Bathory-Kitsz's arrangement of Suessdorf's "Moonlight in Vermont" and Pritsker's arrangement of Captain Beefheart's "Moonlight on Vermont." The CompCord Ensemble comprises Gene Pritsker, Machiko Ozawa, Dorothy Braker, Franz Hackl, and Craftsbury's Mary Rowell. Poet Robert C. Ford will be featured in two Pritsker compositions based on Ford's baseball poems, "Moonlight" and "Maple Syrup.
