The annual Vergennes Day celebration is bigger than ever this year! With tons of FREE activities, 60+ vendor/exhibitors, live music on the bandstand, and so much more! The Vergennes Fire Department starts the day off with their delicious pancake breakfast. The Little City Races start at 8:15 from Vergennes Elementary, all funds raised this year go directly to the Vergennes Community Food Shelf. Their goal is to raise at least $1000!
Starting at 10am the Vergennes City Park will be PACKED with over 60+ vendor/exhibitors selling a wide variety of items. One Credit Union will have a Dunk Tank to raise funds for the Make-a-Wish foundation, Veterans Place & Vergennes Girls Basketball Program. The Vergennes Fire Department will once again have their foam bubble pit for kids to play in. FREE horse drawn wagon rides begin at 11am.
The Vergennes Lions Club will start serving their delicious Chicken BBQ at noon. The Bixby Library will be hosting a book sale and sidewalk chalk art contest, and many of the Downtown Businesses will be open with special Vergennes Day promotions!
