Please join us this Sunday, August 25th at 10:00 a.m. at the Washington Unitarian Universalist Congregation (WUUC) for our final summer service this year.
Rev. Joan Javier-Duval's topic will be "What We Can Learn from the GOAT." We often look to athletes for the measure of human greatness. We laud them for their grit and perseverance. Yet even the GOAT ("Greatest of All Time") Olympian, Simone Biles, knows her limits and when to back down rather than to keep going. What can the Olympic pursuit of greatness teach us about true strength and resilience?
Rev. Joan serves as the Minister of the Unitarian Church of Montpelier. We are delighted to welcome her back to our pulpit!
If you like to sing, our small choir rehearses some simple pieces at 9:15 a.m. prior to the service. Coffee, tea and cookies are served after the service.
We are located at 2938 VT Route 110 in the village of Washington, Vermont.
