Vermont has been a featured location in Hollywood movies for nearly a century. It has represented many different ideals during that time, and its portrayal reflects both Vermont's own history as well as American history.
Amanda Kay Gustin of the Vermont Historical Society will give her talk on Vermont and the movies at the Town Hall in Franklin on Saturday, August 31st at 11 a.m. It's a joint presentation of the Haston Library and Vermont Humanities, and we're happy to be welcoming Amanda back for an exploration of another interesting Vermont-related topic!
This event is free and open to the public, and the venue is accessible to those with disabilities.
