Class Description:
The Art of Tuning In explores the poetics of tuning into the body through movement prompts, self-myofascial techniques, improvisation, partnering, and play. This class will help the mover discover and cultivate new possibilities in relationship to self by awakening the senses (proprioception, interoception, exteroception, equilibrioception) using myofascial feedback techniques and focused awareness. We will then invite our active awareness into experimental relationships with poetics, space, and other moving bodies. Myofascial tools will be provided.
