Mala bead necklaces are necklaces that can be used as a tool to count mantras during meditation. They have 108 beads and when you recite mantras, you touch 1 bead per mantra. When you get to the end of the necklace, you know you have said the mantra 108 times. This practice comes from ancient Hinduism and Buddhism, which Laura studied in college and then visited India after which inspired her to start creating malas and sharing the power of mantra meditation. Mantra meditation is the practice of repeating a word or phrase that you want to enliven in your life. You train the brain to believe that this thing is already true so that you can make it become a reality through your subconscious, one of our most powerful tools.
