Hello neighbors,
There is a free weekly community gathering of meditation practitioners at Camp Meade, every Monday from 7-8:30PM. All meditation practices and backgrounds are welcome, no previous meditation experience needed. It is based in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh, a zen buddhist monk. The evening includes two 20-minute sitting meditations along with a short walking meditation, a shared reading and listening deeply to one another. Bolsters, mats, and chairs will be provided. Bring anything that will help make you more comfortable. This gathering is free; donations are welcome and support the practice space. Led by Elisa Otter and Charlie Cook.
