Due to environmental issues at VUHS, the Evergreen Preschool/ANWSU Power of Play workshop has been moved to the Vergennes Congregational Church at 30 South Water Street, upstairs. A community workshop to enhance the understanding of early childhood development and a young child’s thirst to play. Join Dr. Robin Ploof of Champlain College and local teacher Josh Brooks in a reflective, educational evening to discuss and learn why play is so important for young children. Participants will learn about new research and best practices on how play positively impacts children’s physical, socio-emotional and cognitive development and prepares them for kindergarten and beyond.
