Queen City Memory Cafe

The Queen City Memory Cafe offers a social time and place for people with memory impairment and their support partner to laugh, learn, share concerns and celebrate feeling understood and connected.

Next Cafe: Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 10 am to 12 Noon

Our November guest will be story teller Recille who will share her talents and help us weave a collective tale! Enjoy coffee/tea & baked goods with entertainment and conversation.

There is NO fee and please feel free to come and go as your family’s needs dictate.

Ample free parking, and handicap accessible entrance and restrooms make the Thayer House Gardens Commons Room, 1197 North Ave. Burlington, VT 05408 an ideal location to host the Cafe which will meet monthly on the 3rd Saturday.

Please contact Jessie Cornell, MSW, Alzheimer's Association, Vermont Chapter at jlcornell@alz.org with any questions.

We look forward to seeing you there!

The Queen City Memory Cafe is seeking the donation of a sturdy yet portable sign or sandwich board. If you would like to put your carpentry skills to work or have a sandwich board or alternate method of portable signage display we would be thrilled to have you contact Jessie at jlcornell@alz.org or 802.316.3839 x 8010.

Thank you!

Jessie Cornell, MSW
