"YOU CAN GET HERE FROM THERE"
AT THE WATERBURY PUBLIC LIBRARY
TUESDAY, AUGUST 20TH AT 6:30 P.M.

My artwork has been gracing the library's café and upstairs walls for the past month, and on August 20th, (horrors) I will be offering up an explanation of "You Can Get Here from There!" sharing my memories from public housing to a hilltop chalet.

I will "Start from There" with my memories captured in black and white photographs taken by my father in my childhood home, complemented by watercolor paintings of subjects full of Asian symbolism, plus a publication of paintings along the way, and ending with "Here I Am!" in Vermont halfway around the world. Another stop in the Journey of Life.

If you have not stopped by the library lately, drop in and see my exhibit in the Café Corner and upstairs gallery any time the library is open. On August 20th, I will add a little more that cannot be conveyed just by the photos.

Ps don't forget to visit the Steele Room with an exhibit of over 100 paintings by 20 local artists expressing their creative talent. The exhibit ends August 30th. Don't miss it.
