Jeff Danziger, Political Cartoonist from NYC and Vermont, will be here at the Helen Day Art Center Thursday, November 13th from 6-8p.m.
He will give a brief talk at 6:00p.m., then we will screen the French documentary film "Cartoonists: Footsoldiers of Democracy." This film features 12 cartoonists from around the world (Danziger is the U.S. representative), and was selected at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. There will be a book signing after the film of Danziger's new book, "The Conscience of a Cartoonist: Instructions, Observations, Criticisms, Enthusiasms."
This event is part of the exhibition, "Unrest: Art, Activism & Revolution," which will be on display until November 23rd.
