Southern Vermont band Luminous Crush Releases Music Anthology on Vinyl
Recent recipients of an artist's development grant from the Vermont Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts, the original dream pop/alt-country entity "Luminous Crush" is ready to publicly release their recent vinyl, "Anthology" - a selection of their best original songs of the past ten years. The event will take place on Saturday, August 17 from 7 - 9 PM at In the Moment Records in Londonderry, Vermont.
Laura Molinelli and Bay (formerly Ben) Campbell have been a significant part of the Vermont music scene as individuals for quite some time. Since 2015, they have been prolific musical partners, writing, recording and producing seven albums of original music.
This summer, they have been touring Vermont to promote the new vinyl and on Saturday night at the record store, signed copies of the vinyl will finally be available for purchase. Fans will be treated to light refreshment and merchandise giveaways while they chat with the band members, featuring Laura and Bay as well as Christian Heins (bass), Bill Conley (pedal steel) and Andy Simmons (drums). Following the meet and greet, there will be a live performance from 8 - 9 PM.
Locally owned business partners In The Moment Records and ELectric Mayhem are sponsoring the evening's festivities and the store will be open until 9 PM . The event is free and open to the public.
