This Thursday evening (August, 15th), we invite you to show a little love to our beloved Brookside Primary School by getting the playgrounds ready for the first day of school.
You can help the school by helping us move a huge pile of wood chips at the armory down to the playground and placing them under the play structures. This will ensure that the playground is as safe as can be for returning students!
We will start at 6:00pm and go until 8:00 or so. Feel free to show up when you can for as much time as you can give!
Bring work gloves and water... a wheelbarrow and pitchfork too if you have them! Waterbury Mission will provide pizza for all in attendance.
