There are two great shows coming to the Edgcomb Barn in Warren this weekend! The first is for fans of the Great American Songbook. On Friday night, the Anderson Brothers - twin jazz saxophonists from New York City - team up with guitarist Adam Moezinia to bring you an evening of Cole Porter.

If you're lucky enough to have seen the Andersons before, you know that they deserve the all the accolades they've received including from the New York Times which calls them "virtuosos on both clarinet and saxaphones" and the Washington Post which says their arrangements "imaginatively unfold in ways that consistently bring a fresh perspective to classic jazz tunes." This one will sell out! Buy your tickets now.

Then, on Saturday and Sunday, Warren native Pamela Rickard stars in Samuel Beckett's greatest showcase for an actress, the role of Winnie in "Happy Days." This masterpiece of absurdest comedy is widely considered Beckett's most accessible work, and - while it bears all the trademarks of his offbeat sensibility - is laugh out loud funny. Marriage, memory, the ravages of time, and female resilience all come into new focus as Winnie is literally buried up to her neck over the course of the play.

As the great Dame Peggy Ashcroft once claimed, "Winnie is one of those parts that actresses will want to play in the way that actors aim at Hamlet—a 'summit' part."

Hope to see you there!
