The final concerts of the Craftsbury Chamber Players 2024 summer season take place this week. You may hear the concert at the Elley-Long Center in Colchester on Wednesday, August 14 at 7:30 PM and at the Hardwick Town House in Hardwick on Thursday, August 15 at 7:30. There is a pre-concert chat at 6:45 both nights.

This week's program begins with Georg Philipp Telemann's Suite 'Gulliver's Travels' (1728/29) for two violas followed by the Francis Poulenc Sonata for cello and piano. The final work of the evening (and of the season!) is Johannes Brahms' String Quintet No.2, Op.111 (1890) for 2 violins, 2 violas, and cello.

Performers this week are Mary Rowell and Sarah Goldfeather, violins, Liuh-Wen Ting and Stefanie Taylor, violas, Frances Rowell, cello, and Marcantonio Barone, piano.
