Listening Premiere of Those Who Were Harmed: Episode 1

"Those Who Were Harmed" is an audio-documentary series that delves into the lives of individuals who were sterilized under Vermont's 1931 eugenical sterilization law. Each episode honors the life of one individual, drawing on archival research, in-depth interviews, and storytelling to humanize their lives beyond mere victimhood.

Episode 1 focuses on the life of Ivor Devino, a blind musician from Forest Dale, Brandon, Vermont who lived from 1916-1941 and garnered musical acclaim in his short life.

This event will be followed by a Q&A session with the creators. Light refreshments provided.
