On Monday, August 19, the Dwinell Homestead at 4610 Route 14 in East Calais will be open for a tour hosted by Cyrus Parker (grandson of Harold Dwinell) and sponsored by the Calais and East Montpelier Historical Societies. Bring a picnic supper at 5:00 to be eaten in the kitchen. The tour will follow. There is limited parking at the house, and that is saved for those who cannot walk from the parking lot at the post office/recreation building.
